Updated: Sep 16, 2021

How do we view fear when it comes to us and embrace us with the reality of what it express into how it affects the whole of our personality and our character, such that it afterwards admonished our behavior to act other than normalcy?

Fear had been a threat to humans right from inception and it has constantly remained in us as an occasional withdrawal from our original self into confusing our consciousness hence it makes us feel unprepared and imbalance.

What is fear and why is it a continuous affair that plays its strings in our mind? To what end is it important or dangerous in both internal and external to our body composition? Has fear helped us in anyway?

Fear is an unpleasant and uneasy anxious emotion caused by the apprehensive anticipation or awareness of danger with mindful intentions which consequently puts us in worry and uneasiness.

This action of behavior deeply affects us mentally and thereby obstruct us from thinking clearly and to fully understand ourselves and possibly provides brain issues with forceful resistance to connecting with the environment where we cohabit.

Fear also takes away our sense of humor and makes us see everything around us as being opposing. As interesting as it might sound, humor is a nice way to ease or remove our fears.

The constant strings that fear plays in our minds is natural to us because we fear to be aware of something especially when we don’t know or did not expect to deal or experience the offerings it gives, and in most cases, we might even be aware of what is coming to us, but the danger it express in the way we tend to know or feel threatened invariably puts us in total fear and disturbs our entire body composition.

It is a fact of life that fear must occur irrespective of how we claim not to feel it in our emotions because no matter how we tend to relate with it, the fact still remains that its possibility to influence us is always what flows in our daily manifestations and not just the way we feel about it.

Fears comes to us as a result of the things we associate ourselves with through having our minds fixed and deliberating constantly on them. In the course of these, we could experience the following:

Fear of What People Will Say

This happens as a result of total disregard to individual self-esteem where people who are affected by it place premium to people’s opinion as yardstick to what defines their personalities.

Our social fears occur based on the inter and intra personal relationship with others as it defer absolutely because we don’t share the same beliefs and social norms individually such that the culture to this takes us to a situation that will ultimately reflect actionable disagreement once we try to make everyone behave the same way and believe in the same things, so it is necessarily baseless to allow what people will say define our expectations and reactions hence we are different in the things we do and want for ourselves.

The Fear of Defeat

Defeat has always been an affair in the human race because most people tend to operate and live in competition either directly or indirectly in other to gain pleasure.

Most times we compete over things that are not necessary to us just to have a win over what we don’t need and on the long run would not add value to our lives.

Defeats affectionately reduces our happiness and further puts us in immediate pain and discomfort and makes us feel unusual with ourselves in that the fear of defeat visits our minds once we realize that winning might not be possible.

The moment we know that we grow from a mortal state to exit from an uncertain existence, it will ignite some forms of hope not to even compete let alone win or lose while it makes no sense at all in allowing defeat decide how we feel and react especially when we don’t compete in healthy grounds.

Fear to Start a New Thing

Creation and production has a lot of natural demand from us to always try to put up or start something new from the scratch most importantly when it has to do with something different from the normal.

The fear we express over situations such as this hangs on the fact that what we don’t know makes us feel uncertain and unsure and this kind of disturbances puts us in a fearful circle of analysis and thereby affects our behavior towards such actions afterwards.

Having the mind of adventure shouldn’t be a problem at all once we look at it from the angle of enlightenment and curious discovery.

Fear of Death

The fear of death is what everyone who solely occupy the time and space of living ponder about since the seemingly happenings of what we observe from birth and acknowledging the passing on and death of others who we know once existed like us.

It is very normal to think this way, but what we should know and bear in mind for certain is that no matter the fear content we apply in our thoughts, death won’t go away from us because it is a natural occurrence that remains certain with the living. So why fear what you wouldn’t change?

Fear of What We Imagined

Our imaginations most times puts us in terrible situation such that we become afraid of what we create in our minds in the absence of what is not physically present before us as against our imagined thoughts.

This perturb situation maintains an extraordinary negative effect on us and thereabouts disturbs our rationality to think rightly into affecting the way we subsequently behave.

Until we get fascinated by the things that makes us fear, it will be difficult to deal with fear because the element of what fear expresses tend to decide how we feel and behave with others in that the nature of fear take away our sense of humor.

Fear of Pain

We feel pain because it is what we think of as though it exists even before it happens. Though, there are times we are forcefully introduced to pain without our making and also apprehended with things that puts us in grave pain like losing someone close to us or been robbed off of what rightfully belongs to us before our very conscious present.

This sought of pain affects our heartbeat rates in such a way that will possible attack our heart to fail to function properly and might have serious complications onto us afterwards.

We have the right and the ability to control whatever we do with our minds and body and it is absolutely necessary that we choose what is best and right for us and our health if we want to be happy and stop the feeling of having pain within us.

It is important to note that we must accept blames the way they appear and improve upon that which we are blamed for in other to have our peace of mind fixed towards our horizons.

Fear of Being Corrected

It becomes very annoying the way most people fail to take correction even when it is for their own individual good and prosperity. Having good sense of humor helps redirect our options to choose wisely and also allow the entrance of good prospect to be acknowledged by us naturally without forcing or rejecting the offerings of actionable ideas that will assist our well-being greatly. In other for anyone to prosper, they must create room for correction and acceptance humbly.

Fear for Survival

The continuation of life or existence is an act of living that remains superflux and otherwise intended by its originator, our survival as humans is to express the position it holds on us to live in the fullness of it.

The fear of survival negates the very essence of survival itself, such that, the moment we allow it to manifest in us unconditionally, it then becomes problematic to us.

The confrontation of an adversary gives us the upper edge to survive when faced with the things that will discontinue our survival. Confrontation is key as we expose ourselves to the situation through analysis and good judgements.

Fear of Intimidation

Most people who feel inferior and lack self-esteem employ intimidation as a tool to create fear upon those who they appear inferior to, either to accomplish or to refuse to comply to social recommendations or upon an agreement they feel would not favor them or upon something greater than them.

Intimidation is done only when we feel threatened by what we intimidate and those who feel intimidated are just expressing what they could not handle and possibly looking for assistance elsewhere to gain support.

The fear of intimidation and possible oppression shouldn’t be what we should give into hence the way out is to express a lack of concern to it by looking for something else other than the things that disturbs our peace and further intimidate our being.

The fear of shame is a direct reaction to the things we feel should be kept secret from others and to the public, owing to the fact that they are sleeping actions we made in the past and in most cases we desire to correct or disconnect from them without letting it out to the public or to the open as it were. Secrets are only but constant variables that puts us in the past. The problem thereof within is the fear and the acceptance to remain in shame hence we feel not to change the situation from disturbing our peace.
